Brinkburn Grove, Banbury (A full house refurbishment)
This project was the biggest project to date for Matt Simpson Home Improvements.
Including new En-suite and main Bathroom, 2 single bedrooms knocked through into 1 large bedroom, re-designed and built triple sliding wardrobe to master bedroom, fully decorated throughout, new cloakroom, 55m2 of engineered oak flooring and finally an existing kitchen/dining room and utility room knock through to create a new open plan family kitchen/utility/diner.
The planning for these works took around 24 working hours to gather a final quote plus an additional 16 hours to provide a working schedule which incorporated no less than 6 trades at different times to work in conjunction with the next!!
Sub-Contractor Electricians, Plumber, Plasterer, Decorator and Floor supplier were used during the 9 weeks plus my trades which, on this project, included carpentry, kitchen fitting, floor laying, tiling and decorating.
The bathroom was then completed along with all of the 1st floor decorating then after the new kitchen/utility/diner had been created and plastered this was fully decorated before the new kitchen was installed and the engineered oak flooring laid.
Finally, the cloakroom was completed and all of the 2nd fix electrics and plumbing finished to mean that the proposed schedule of 8 weeks and 3 days was bang on target !!!!
The customers have left a glowing testimony detailing the whole teams input and care taken during this whole project of which I am incredibly proud.
