After many years of tenant and landlord neglect, it was clear that a major re-design and build was required in all internal areas of the property. To say the project was a large and challenging one was an understatement and, in fact organisations had failed to quote for the project as it was viewed as too ambitious for the budget and the timescales defined by myself and my partner Rachel.
No such problem for Matt! The quote for a total refurbishment of the interior of the property was competitive and Matt assured us, under his Project Management, he and his team could complete the works within 8 weeks. At this stage, I have to admit to being a little sceptical that this could be achieved in the time allocated, especially given the enormity of the project. This included; total refurbishment of En-Suite, Bathroom and Cloakroom, remodelling 2 small Bedrooms to create 1 large Double, creating a new Built-In Wardrobe for the Master Bedroom, laying 55m2 of Engineered Oak Flooring throughout the Ground Floor, new Window Shutters fitted and, the pièce de resistance, knocking-through the separate Dining Room, Utility Room and Kitchen to create a wonderful Open Plan social space that still continues to take our breath away! A complete redecoration of all areas, including large electrical works, was also undertaken by Matt and his Team.
I have spent 40 years in HM Forces and my expectations of professionalism, attention to detail and work ethic are high. Matt and his Team never once let me down on this account (and yes, I am hard to please) and collectively have transformed our house into a home Rachel and I can be proud off. I also know that Matt and his Team are equally as proud of what they have achieved, and rightly so.

We’ve had Matt round to take out a fitted wardrobe, tile our bathroom, fit a new window, install a new kitchen and tile our utility room. His work is of a very high standard and he is a pleasure to have around.
We were especially delighted with our beautiful kitchen, Matt did an excellent job, which took the exact amount of days he estimated. He quickly sorted out any minor problems that arose and as a consequence, the upheaval of having the kitchen refitted was a lot less stressful than we imagined it would be!

My wife wanted our new kitchen completed before the Summer Holidays, as all our relatives would be travelling over to see us from North America, USA and Canada.
Our original contractor let us down, and was unable to do the work in the time frame that we needed it done.
I contacted Matt purely on spec, and got an immediate reply, he visited us and stated he could do this when we wanted.
After taking measurements, he sent us a planned diagram of the kitchen to our specification, and gave us the estimate.
It was slightly more expensive than what I had originally hoped, however Matt was timely, worked constantly and is very professional and dedicated, the products were of a superior quality and the workmanship was superb.
This was all done and completed in a matter of days, and my wife and I are delighted with the overall result, and exactly what she wanted. I cant say enough of how impressed I am by the quality, look and workmanship, certainly a good investment and now a very functional kitchen. I would recommend Matt Simpson to anyone.

We used Matt Simpson to renovate our kitchen. We had a wall removed to make a big kitchen-dining room and had a new kitchen fitted. It was a challenging job, as the room is not square, having an angled wall.
