Matt took on a complete renovation of our ground floor which included a knock through of a kitchen / diner, utility room, downstairs WC, hallway and lounge. The work started at the end of November and was completed on time by 14 February. With 2 small children we appreciated the adherence to timescales!

Matt and his team did the following for us; knocked down a wall between the kitchen and dining room to create an open plan space, removed an old supporting chimney and installed an RSJ, lifted the entire ground floor to insulate between wooden joists, blocked in a doorway, plastered, wired new electrics, plumbed, decorated throughout up to and including the stairs and landing, tiled in the WC, utility and kitchen, fitted a brand new kitchen, utility and appliances, fit new doors, skirting and architrave throughout. It was a lot of work!

Matt is highly professional and was excellent at communicating throughout the project. He was very flexible and happy to accommodate some changes along the way, offering his advice and recommendations too which we appreciated. I’ve no doubt Matt will be back in our house to help us with the upstairs soon and we would happily recommend him.

We asked Matt to quote for our new kitchen in October. He gave us a date and what I thought was a very reasonable quote so we decided to go for it. We bought our kitchen through Wickes (in hindsight We should of used Howdens).

Matt turned up on site and on time. He also organised the plasterers and plumbers. They also turned up on time and completed work within their time slots. Not only did Matt remove the old kitchen, organised the skip, installed the new kitchen, floor and wall tiles! Plus he also did the mist coat and finished the ceiling painted, and installed a new internal door and skirting!

The photos show for themselves, Matt finished all his jobs to an extremely high standard and having worked in the construction industry for 25 years myself, I was deeply impressed by his standard.

I would thoroughly recommend his work. Matt stayed within quoted budget and my pretty high expectations. Over all very very happy with all Matt has done, dream kitchen, completed.

After many years of tenant and landlord neglect, it was clear that a major re-design and build was required in all internal areas of the property. To say the project was a large and challenging one was an understatement and, in fact organisations had failed to quote for the project as it was viewed as too ambitious for the budget and the timescales defined by myself and my partner Rachel.

No such problem for Matt! The quote for a total refurbishment of the interior of the property was competitive and Matt assured us, under his Project Management, he and his team could complete the works within 8 weeks. At this stage, I have to admit to being a little sceptical that this could be achieved in the time allocated, especially given the enormity of the project. This included; total refurbishment of En-Suite, Bathroom and Cloakroom, remodelling 2 small Bedrooms to create 1 large Double, creating a new Built-In Wardrobe for the Master Bedroom, laying 55m2 of Engineered Oak Flooring throughout the Ground Floor, new Window Shutters fitted and, the pièce de resistance, knocking-through the separate Dining Room, Utility Room and Kitchen to create a wonderful Open Plan social space that still continues to take our breath away! A complete redecoration of all areas, including large electrical works, was also undertaken by Matt and his Team.

I have spent 40 years in HM Forces and my expectations of professionalism, attention to detail and work ethic are high. Matt and his Team never once let me down on this account (and yes, I am hard to please) and collectively have transformed our house into a home Rachel and I can be proud off. I also know that Matt and his Team are equally as proud of what they have achieved, and rightly so.

We’ve had Matt round to take out a fitted wardrobe, tile our bathroom, fit a new window, install a new kitchen and tile our utility room. His work is of a very high standard and he is a pleasure to have around.

My wife wanted our new kitchen completed before the Summer Holidays, as all our relatives would be travelling over to see us from North America, USA and Canada.
Our original contractor let us down, and was unable to do the work in the time frame that we needed it done.
I contacted Matt purely on spec, and got an immediate reply, he visited us and stated he could do this when we wanted.
After taking measurements, he sent us a planned diagram of the kitchen to our specification, and gave us the estimate.
