We’ve had Matt round to take out a fitted wardrobe, tile our bathroom, fit a new window, install a new kitchen and tile our utility room. His work is of a very high standard and he is a pleasure to have around. We were especially delighted with our beautiful kitchen, Matt did an excellent job, which took the exact amount of days he estimated. He quickly sorted out any minor problems that arose and as a consequence, the upheaval of having the kitchen refitted was a lot less stressful than we imagined it would be! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matt and will definitely have him back to do more work on our home.

We used Matt Simpson to renovate our kitchen. We had a wall removed to make a big kitchen-dining room and had a new kitchen fitted. It was a challenging job, as the room is not square, having an angled wall. Matt worked closely with us and the kitchen supplier to find the best solutions to maximise storage using the space we have. Matt Simpson has done numerous jobs for me over the past couple of years, including fitting laminate floors, kitchen worktops and units, tiling, fitted wardrobes and decking. My wife wanted our new kitchen completed before the Summer Holidays, as all our relatives would be travelling over to see us from North America, USA and Canada. Our original contractor let us down, and was unable to do the work in the time frame that we needed it done. I contacted Matt purely on spec, and got an immediate reply, he visited us and stated he could do this when we wanted. After taking measurements, he sent us a planned diagram of the kitchen to our specification, and gave us the estimate. It was slightly more expensive than what I had originally hoped, however Matt was timely, worked constantly and is very professional and dedicated, the products were of a superior quality and the workmanship was superb. This was all done and completed in a matter of days, and my wife and I are delighted with the overall result, and exactly what she wanted. I cant say enough of how impressed I am by the quality, look and workmanship, certainly a good investment and now a very functional kitchen. I would recommend Matt Simpson to anyone.

Matt, just wanted to write to say what a fantastic job you and your team have made of refitting our kitchen. I know that having walls knocked down, kitchen ripped out, new walls built and completely new kitchen installed should have been stressful, but you made it so much easier for us by having such great guys working for you, cleaning up at the end of each day, sticking to your time line/schedule (whilst still accommodating our little changes along the way) and just generally being so personable all the way through. We’re absolutely thrilled with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to others. Thank you so, so much.

Matt took on a complete renovation of our ground floor which included a knock through of a kitchen / diner, utility room, downstairs WC, hallway and lounge. The work started at the end of November and was completed on time by 14 February. With 2 small children we appreciated the adherence to timescales! Matt and his team did the following for us; knocked down a wall between the kitchen and dining room to create an open plan space, removed an old supporting chimney and installed an RSJ, lifted the entire ground floor to insulate between wooden joists, blocked in a doorway, plastered, wired new electrics, plumbed, decorated throughout up to and including the stairs and landing, tiled in the WC, utility and kitchen, fitted a brand new kitchen, utility and appliances, fit new doors, skirting and architrave throughout. It was a lot of work! Matt is highly professional and was excellent at communicating throughout the project. He was very flexible and happy to accommodate some changes along the way, offering his advice and recommendations too which we appreciated. I've no doubt Matt will be back in our house to help us with the upstairs soon and we would happily recommend him.
