Matt designed and built an en-suite shower room for us in what was a cupboard in our bedroom and the finished job was much more than we could possibly have expected. Matt and his team worked efficiently and were extremely friendly, the job was finished in two weeks and we are delighted with this addition to our home.

We used Matt Simpson to renovate our kitchen. We had a wall removed to make a big kitchen-dining room and had a new kitchen fitted. It was a challenging job, as the room is not square, having an angled wall. Matt worked closely with us and the kitchen supplier to find the best solutions to maximise storage using the space we have. After many years of tenant and landlord neglect, it was clear that a major re-design and build was required in all internal areas of the property. To say the project was a large and challenging one was an understatement. No such problem for Matt! The quote for a total refurbishment of the interior of the property was competitive and Matt assured us, under his Project Management, he and his team could complete the works within 8 weeks. At this stage, I have to admit to being a little sceptical that this could be achieved in the time allocated, especially given the enormity of the project. This included; total refurbishment of En-Suite, Bathroom and Cloakroom, remodelling 2 small Bedrooms to create 1 large Double, creating a new Built-In Wardrobe for the Master Bedroom, laying 55m2 of Engineered Oak Flooring throughout the Ground Floor, new Window Shutters fitted and, the pièce de resistance, knocking-through the separate Dining Room, Utility Room and Kitchen to create a wonderful Open Plan social space that still continues to take our breath away! A complete redecoration of all areas, including large electrical works, was also undertaken by Matt and his Team. Matt and his Team never once let me down on this account (and yes, I am hard to please) and collectively have transformed our house into a home Rachel and I can be proud off.

Matt Simpson Home Improvements replaced my fascias, soffits and gutterings. A very professional job at a very reasonable price. It was in fact half the price of a quote I had received from someone else!! Matt and the guy who came to carry out the works were very efficient and very friendly. My wife wanted our new kitchen completed before the Summer Holidays, as all our relatives would be travelling over to see us from North America, USA and Canada. Our original contractor let us down, and was unable to do the work in the time frame that we needed it done. I contacted Matt purely on spec, and got an immediate reply, he visited us and stated he could do this when we wanted. After taking measurements, he sent us a planned diagram of the kitchen to our specification, and gave us the estimate. It was slightly more expensive than what I had originally hoped, however Matt was timely, worked constantly and is very professional and dedicated, the products were of a superior quality and the workmanship was superb. This was all done and completed in a matter of days, and my wife and I are delighted with the overall result, and exactly what she wanted. I cant say enough of how impressed I am by the quality, look and workmanship, certainly a good investment and now a very functional kitchen. I would recommend Matt Simpson to anyone.
